How to register academic credits

In this page you can find all the information on how to register academic credits for the following exams:

  • Basic IT Skills  5 credits (Bachelor’s degree) Cod E0001
  • Basic IT Skills 4 credits (Bachelor’s degree – n.o.) Cod EA012
  • Qualifying Exam of Basic IT skills (4-year degree) Cod 02720

Registration takes place on the days when the ECDL exam sessions are held at the Faculty.

The schedule of ECDL exam sessions is available on the website.

Students must have with them the papers proving they have passed the 4 modules (or AICA portfolio) and their study plan.

Those who have previously obtained the ECDL Diploma or have passed the 4 compulsory modules (Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Online Essential, Computer Essential) at other Test centers can also register, provided they were taken after 01/01/2015.

ANYONE WHO HAS ALREADY PASSED THE DIPLOMA (FOR EXAMPLE, DURING HIGH SCHOOL) MUST FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE

  • register for credit registration of the chosen date and indicate in the note that you have sent the certificate and study plan. If you are unable to register, it means that you cannot register yet due to admin reasons; you will have to wait until the system allows it
  • if the system has allowed enrolment for registration, send (using only your university email) the original diploma or portfolio downloaded from the AICA website (or the papers certifying that you passed the exams) and personal "study plan" to  marisa.arcisto@uniupo.it. For those who do not have this, it can be viewed on the University website (Infobox) Infobox - Web services for students.
