Goals

The course aims to provide the methodologies and cultural, scientific and linguistic skills necessary for achievement of in-depth legal knowledge in its various national and international version, supported by logical-argumentative and critical reasoning, both inductive and deductive.

Graduates, in addition to addressing themselves to the legal professions and the judiciary, will be able to carry out activities and be employed, with reference to functions characterized by high responsibility, in the various fields of social, socio-economic and political activity or in institutions, public administrations, private companies (corporate lawyer), in trade unions, in the IT law sector, in the sector of comparative, international and community law (European lawyer), as well as in international organizations where the ability to analyze, evaluate and decision of the jurist prove to be fruitful even outside the sectorial content knowledge.

Career opportunities

In addition to the traditional legal professions (magistrate, lawyer and notary), further job prospects are offered, such as a career in international institutions, a career in public administrations (national, regional, local, public bodies), or in banks, insurance companies and financial intermediaries in general, as well as administrative roles in medium-large companies (legal office, personnel management, etc.), labour and industrial relations consultancy, or teaching in high school.

Another professional opportunity is offered by the third sector (associations, non-profit organizations, cultural and trade associations, environmental protection, product certification, consumer protection, reintegration of disadvantaged people, etc ...) where the discipline of law is combined with a commitment to fundamental civil and humanitarian rights.

Prerequisites (Art. 34)

In compliance with Art.34, additional prerequisites may be established by individual teachers for their own courses.
