Instructions for first access and use of university online services

For students

After completing the online enrolment procedure, you will receive your matriculation number via e-mail (in the mailbox you indicated during registration). It is a number that identifies you as a student of the University; it is used in administrative procedures and to access IT services.

Remember, the enrolment procedure is only complete on payment of the first instalment. Until then, to enter the Student Portal on which you registered, you must use the username: name.surname@esterni.uniupo.it (at the end of the registration phase it may take a few minutes, maximum 5, before you can enter)

When you receive your student number via e-mail, you will need to activate your e-mail box by following the instructions you find here: Email Service for Students. For problems relating to the activation of the mailbox, write to postastudenti@uniupo.it

Once your mailbox is activated, you will need to use your email credentials to access:

• Student Portal
• UniUpo App 
• Email
• WiFi
• Access to PCs in the laboratories
• DIR Services (Didattica in rete – online teaching)

Procedure for changing the password, resetting it or resetting it. To allow us to communicate your new password, you must have entered an e-mail address other than the one provided by us during registration.

For staff

Access to the Department PCs is possible only after allocation of a user code (login) and related personal password. If you are part of the technical-administrative staff or teaching staff, you can request login by filling out the application form attached at the bottom of the page. Once the credentials have expired, it is possible to apply for renewal by contacting the Laboratory staff.
