The QA system for Research and Third Mission is designed to monitor how Research and Third Mission activity is carried out.
In other words: to define objectives, implement any measures necessary to pursue said objectives and remove any obstances, monitor activities involved and evaluate results of action.

The main entities involved in QA of Research and Third Mission at University level are:
- Department Head of QA in Research
- Re-appraisal team
The individuals and members of these committees are chosen by the Department Council
